TEAM UP FOR EXCEPTIONAL MASTER BROKERS FORUM RECEPTION

Fabulous Gathering Highlighted by Special

“Social Networking 101 – For Realtors!” Presentation

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL -- July 10, 2012The Broward Chapter of the Master Brokers Forum (MBF), an organization comprised of South Florida’s top residential real estate agents, were recently treated to a special Social Networking-themed reception at Allied Kitchen & Bath in Ft. Lauderdale. More than 50 Master Brokers took part in this exceptional event, sponsored in partnership with Lifestyle Publications, publishers of Broward County-based luxury magazines.

With the focus of the evening on social networking and interactivity, Master Brokers were greeted with custom-designed name badges, featuring each member’s own unique “quick response” (QR) code with their contact information, as well as QR codes for the participating organizations. During the cocktail reception, Master Brokers enjoyed scanning each other’s QR codes with their mobile/smart phones, perusing recent editions of Lifestyle’s magazines, and touring Allied Kitchen & Bath’s extraordinary 15,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art showroom.

Following the reception, guests were formally welcomed to Allied by Bill Feinberg, the full-service design center’s president, and by Jim Norton and Gary Press, Lifestyle Publications’ publisher and chairman. This was followed by an engaging and entertaining presentation on “Social Networking 101 – For Realtors!”, presented by Jen Bruno, training and development manager of Hansgrohe North America. During her presentation, Bruno illustrated the rising power of social media, outlined some creative promotions, and offered some real-world suggestions guests could use in their own business practices.

Both Allied Kitchen & Bath and Lifestyle Publications provided several generous door and raffle prizes, including gift cards to local restaurants and retailers. Master Broker Rachel Herbert won the evening’s Grand Prize; a full-page, full-color advertisement in the Lifestyle Publications magazine of her choice. “We congratulate Rachel on this valuable prize, and look forward to expanding our special relationships with Allied and the Master Brokers Forum,” said Press, who also recognized Jill Horowitz (Lifestyle’s senior marketing director) for producing the spectacular event.

“Our friends at Lifestyle and Allied really came through with a wonderful and educational event for our members, and we are so grateful for their hospitality,” said Carolyn Block Ellert, chair of the Broward MBF. “We also thank Jen Bruno for that amazing presentation, which demonstrated how to showcase our properties, and connect with buyers and sellers through social media.”
